Maybe this can be of some help to those of you looking to rehab your loan through Dept. of Ed. Be sure to force them to communicate via e-mail as much as possible. If they make a mistake you have documentation and can hold your ground. Be sure to find one or two people only to communicate with as much as possible. Followup with them weekly until the loan is rehabilitated. Make sure you get a firm end date to your rehab process or you will end up paying extra rehab payments if they goof up the process and delay it before rehab. Be very, very cautious. Remember everyone.. that we live in a time where our freedoms are being eroded by the minute... we are kept at bay by being indentured servants, and it is difficult to maneuver the governmental maze. This is deliberate. This is set up to keep us victims of a system turning corrupt and unconstitutional. Protect yourself, keep notes, hold loan reps accountable for misinformation and misguidance. I was very successful when I rehabed my loan, with only a minor flaw due to Premiere Credits incompetence. I proved my complaints with the e-mails I saved. Be very careful. Rehabing your loan requires a lot of attention. If your situation warrants and benefits from rehab, and you choose to do it be very, very vigilant or you will have surprise payments you didn't know you had before the loan is rehabed. If all else fails and they mess up the rehab process, tell them you are writing your Senator, and send them a cc of the letter. It's worth everything you can do to get the rehab done correctly for you. Remember, they don't care at all. Hope this helps.
