I am just curious, it's hard to weed through all the information and opinions about this movement/proposal.... is there anything about Private Student Loan holders?
These student loans are ruining my life. I thought I was setting myself up for a decent life for my daughter and I but am learning I have been screwed with these loans and we are right back at the poverty level we were before school.

Anyone know? By the way they are through Sallie Mae and AES, the Tuition Answer loan, if that helps

Not alone

I just wanted to say Stephie11, that you are not alone. I too have loans thru Sallie Mae and AES. I am NEVER going to get out of debt. As best I can read, yes there is provisions there for these type of private student loans to convert to a Federal Loan and then make them eligible for the proposed 10/10 loan assistance. I am just praying this gets passed.
