As you may already be aware, ForgiveStudentLoanDebt has rebranded as StudentDebtCrisis.org. This change is intended to reflect the fact that we are pursuing an "all of the above" strategy to reforming the way in which higher education is paid for in America, rather than focusing solely on student loan forgiveness.
To mark the launch of this new endeavor, we would like to replicate the success of last month's "Twitterbomb" event, wherein, working together, we were able to get the hashtag #ListenToTheMillion to trend nationally within a half hour of the start of the event!
Unfortunately, despite the million+ Americans who have signed the petition in favor of H.R. 4170, as well as the numerous efforts intended to get Congress to #ListenToTheMillion, all we've heard from Congress, thus far, is silence. Therefore, it's time to turn up the volume!
