The Myth of Record Low Default Rates

The entrenched interests and educational establishment are finally starting to notice what those of us who've been paying attention to this story have known for well over a year: default rates are going up, not down, and they're only going to continue to go up until the whole student loan bubble I've been warning about pops.

Pass it on!

How Far are You Willing to Go to be Heard by Congress? (Pick the most aggressive form of Protest you'd be Comfortable With).

The Opposite of "Progressive" Is Not "Conservative"

Contrary to what Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, Hannity, Coulter and the rest of their ilk would have us believe, the opposite of "progressive" isn't "conservative" - it's regressive. You're either in favor of progressing as a civilization (becoming more civilized) or you're in favor of regressing as one (becoming less civilized).
