For three and a half years, I've been giving interviews to newspapers, television shows, magazines, radio shows and blogs. This article, however, holds a special place in my heart as it's the paper I grew up with and it's where my friends.family and neighbors who haven't been paying close attention will learn more about what it is I do. It's the first time I've been featured in the Advance since 1979, when I appeared in a feature called "Children Say Being Good Just Isn't Easy."
