H.R. 4170, The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012, has finally been introduced in the House of Representatives by our champion in Congress, Rep. Hansen Clarke!  Here, Rep. Clarke gives a brief overview of the bill, details for which will be available as soon as the bill is posted for public view.  Thank you, Rep. Clarke for standing up for the middle class!

Business Insider: America's University System is Bankrupting A Generation

Appreciate the attention to the issue, however, there are two glaring errors in just the title of this article:

  1. "Bankrupting" is a poor choice of words, as nearly all consumer protections, including bankruptcy, have been stripped from all student loans, both Federal and private; and
  2. "A Generation" is too limiting - it's crushing several generations.

Otherwise, certainly worth a read!
