Our Champion in Congress, Rep. Hansen Clarke, in his own words:

"I have proposed the Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012, which would eliminate many of the awful consequences of educational indebtedness. In doing so, it would give Americans greater purchasing power, helping to jump-start our economy and create jobs."

Business Insider: America's University System is Bankrupting A Generation

Appreciate the attention to the issue, however, there are two glaring errors in just the title of this article:

  1. "Bankrupting" is a poor choice of words, as nearly all consumer protections, including bankruptcy, have been stripped from all student loans, both Federal and private; and
  2. "A Generation" is too limiting - it's crushing several generations.

Otherwise, certainly worth a read!
